Many entered the CloudShare TeamLabs SPC2014 pass giveaway, and the lucky winner has been chosen!
Congratulations to Erik Perez (@erik_perez) Senior Solutions Architect at Solien Technology for winning a free pass to this year’s 2014 SharePoint Conference, and $500 in travel.
Solien Technology (www.solien.com) is a technology consulting company focused on the Microsoft platform and specializing in SharePoint and web development. Since 1994, Solien has worked on numerous implementation and development projects in various industry verticals with the goal of delivering competitive advantage to their customers through their expertise and the latest technologies. Solien’s SharePoint practice started with the release of SharePoint Team Services in 2001 and continues with the current 2013 release of the product.
Erik Perez has worked at Solien since 2001 as a developer, consultant and senior SharePoint architect. He attended the SharePoint conferences in 2006, 2012 and now 2014 thanks to CloudShare! He enjoys the task of experimenting and assessing technologies that bring business value to Solien when he’s not working on client engagements.
Solien became aware of CloudShare several years ago at a SharePoint LA event. After examining the CloudShare ProPlus product, Solien decided to leverage the rapid template-based deployment of SharePoint environments and Windows servers to expedite development on several projects. The ProPlus service was successfully used to develop, test and deliver complex solutions that would have otherwise required more time and effort from our team. The Cloudshare ProPlus product definitely delivered immediate value at an exceptional price. Now, with the additional hardware required to deploy SharePoint 2013 farms and a need to establish multiple development, test and staging farms for clients, Solien is once again considering the CloudShare offerings – specifically TeamLabs. What’s attractive is the access to unlimited hardware resources and the ability to keep some of these environments running for extended periods of time. And of course, let’s not forget the rapid deployment of environments using predefined templates that won them over initially.
At this year’s SharePoint Conference many new things were announced including the new Enterprise Social Platform code-named Oslo, and the upcoming roadmap for Share Point 2015! Exciting times ahead for SharePoint and the SharePoint community. Stay tuned for our next great giveaway.
