CloudShare Extends Virtual IT Labs Solutions to Google Cloud Platform
Companies can easily deliver hands-on, instructor-led virtual training solutions on top of Google Cloud Platform to enable exceptional interactive learning experiences.
SAN FRANCISCO — JUNE 05, 2019 — CloudShare, a leading provider of specialized cloud environments, today announced it is an official Google Cloud Partner and that its scalable, hands-on virtual training solution is now available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Software companies can now run comprehensive training on top of their commodity cloud.
With Gartner predicting that more than $1.3 trillion in IT spending will be affected by the shift to the cloud over the next three years, turnkey training experiences in the cloud are expected to become increasingly critical to software product success. By providing all of its powerful virtual training features transparently over GCP, CloudShare is enabling companies to easily spin up a flexible, intelligent student training experience within seconds.
CloudShare offers GCP admin console access in addition to complete, automatic end-to-end GCP resource provisioning and management, defined user and machine controls, advanced analytics and usage statistics. Companies can train on any number of GCP virtual machines (VMs) and create hybrid class environments based on their individual needs and use cases, regardless of its complexity.
Michal Frenkel, vice president of product at CloudShare, said, “We continue to advance as the leader in virtual instructor led training. CloudShare’s partnering with GCP creates the most immersive, true-to-life virtual training experience you can get over today’s cloud.”
CloudShare automatically manages all class configurations from setup to teardown. Key GCP features include:
- Fully isolated environments for each end user;
- The ability to define GCP resource limits in CloudShare;
- Assigned GCP roles, both custom and default, for class users;
- Real-time access to the GCP admin console during class to easily work with advanced tools like Kubernetes; and
- All of CloudShare’s industry-leading console features, including over-the-shoulder viewing, zoom in, broadcasting and more.
CloudShare is also developing transparent training solutions for AWS and Azure, which are scheduled for release in the coming months.
